Dear Parents, Students and Community of It is my pleasure to be the principal of calcutt middle school. We are a dynamic school that provides common planning for teachers, team advisory and high academic and socialization expectations for all students. Calcutt is in the process of developing school wide expectations with the support from the School Improvement Team. We are very proud of our school and our teams and the direction that Calcutt has chosen. We support our middle school behavior with two behavior specialist allowing for quick reengagement into academics. We have all but eliminated truancy and boast about our 97% attendance rate. Officer Sandy Greiko is a wonderful SRO and the students truly feel safe and confident with her. She has devised our emergency plan that assures safety for all. Calcutt has made the turn into a student centered teacher focused school. We internalize on best instructional practices by using lab classrooms provided by Turning Points and master teachers. Faculty conversations have been geared toward best practices and away from behavioral issues. We invite you to visit and participate in a day or two at Calcutt at your convenience.
